About The Position

Coke Florida is hiring a Trailer Mover based out of its Hollywood location. The role moves trailers across lots during loading and related functions. The Trailer Mover checks trailers daily for raw materials and full goods, assesses empty trailers and those needing relocation or loading, and helps maintain orderly and accurate trailer movement to the docks.

The schedule is 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., 4–5 days per week based on business needs. Saturday is required.

Requirements

• Some prior general work experience is required.
• Ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack or lift product.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Fork-lift certification is required.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds.
• CDL Class A is required if transporting product on public roads.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One or more years of prior warehouse, stocking, or forklift experience preferred.
• CDL Permit highly preferred.
• Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers across lots during loading and related functions.
• Conduct daily checks of trailers for raw materials and full goods, and assess empty trailers and trailers needing relocation or loading.
• Properly store trailers that are not being used.
• Maintain proper order of customer pick-up trailers brought to the docks.
• Ensure a complete and accurate list of trailers brought in and moved to the docks.
• Ensure that all trailers brought to the docks have their wheels chocked.
• Report problems or damages that occur.
