The Trailer Mechanic will perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on trailing equipment in compliance with manufacturers and company schedules. This role requires the ability to access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and working in, on, or under parts of trailers. The position involves standing for extended periods on various surfaces, lifting objects up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally, and performing tasks such as walking, reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling. The Trailer Mechanic is responsible for shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance with DOT, EPA, Interstate Authority, and OSHA regulations. This role also includes performing safety inspections, participating in company training, and other assigned duties, with prompt daily attendance required.
