About The Position

Kleen Test Products has a Trailer Jockey / Yard Jockey opening at our Port Washington WI Plant making disinfectants and household cleaners. This is a part-time, night-shift position. The role facilitates the movement of trailers and manages material logistics to and from the warehouse(s), ensuring a seamless material flow across the production plants. Responsibilities include keeping accurate records of dropped trailers, conducting daily truck inspections, ensuring trucks are fueled and ready for operation, and handling all necessary paperwork promptly. The position may also assist with Material Handling tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Class A CDL
  • Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Ability to read a pick-list and use an electronic inventory control system
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and understand instructions from all staff
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
  • Ability to maintain a safe, clean, organized warehouse and work area
  • Candidates must be available for an in-person, on-site interview.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the movement of trailers and manage material logistics to and from the warehouse(s)
  • Ensure a seamless material flow across the production plants
  • Keep an accurate record of dropped trailers in the lot, including part number, date received, trailer number, lot number, and quantity
  • Conduct daily truck inspections and communicate any issues before operation
  • Make sure trucks are fueled and ready for operation
  • Accurately and promptly handle all necessary paperwork
  • Assist with Material Handling tasks as needed
  • Operate a Day Cab Truck and Yard Spotter (CLASS A CDL required)
  • Read and comprehend Bill of Lading (BOL) for both inbound loads and outbound shipments
  • Safely operate a sit-down electric forklift with utmost care
  • Familiarize yourself with the following equipment: hand jack / drum dolly / clamp truck / scissors lift / powered hoist / powered floor scrubber / safety cage set up
