About The Position

The Trailer Fabrication Department Lead is responsible for overseeing all operations within their area. The Trailer Fabrication Department Lead is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and production efficiencies to meet the standards and expectations of internal and external customers. Leads are also morale builders and are responsible for creating a positive work environment for all employees.

Requirements

3+ years of fabrication experience in manufacturing
At least 1 year of experience following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Forklift certified
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and evaluate trailer fabrication department production employees
Train and cross-train all team members on necessary processes, procedures, and tasks within the trailer fabrication department
Monitor production and throughput
Monitor employee attendance and discipline
Assist whenever needed in any area of the trailer fabrication department from start to finish
Perform quality checks throughout the process
Enforce company policies, safety rules and regulations as well as follow lockout, tag-out (LOTO) procedures
Coach and assist all employees with problem solving and conflict resolution
