About The Position

Imperial Dade is hiring a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver in Jessup, Maryland. The role is responsible for completing a route of daily customer stops and delivering merchandise to the customer-designated location. Deliveries involve unloading products by hand and using a manual pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate. The position focuses on safe delivery and providing exceptional customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. and continuing until finished. Pay is $27.00–$29.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam.
• Good driving record.
• At least 1 year of recent CDL A experience.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of experience using a manual pallet jack and hand truck.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds comfortably and without assistance.
• Lift gate experience.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53-foot truck or smaller.
• Load and unload cargo by hand and with a manual pallet jack and lift gate.
• Complete daily delivery stops and deliver merchandise to customer-designated locations.
• Track and document activity logs accurately.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Communicate with customers in a positive, outgoing manner and provide exceptional customer service.
