About The Position

ATS Calgary is looking for a Traffic Technician for the 2025 season! Traffic Techs are responsible for conducting traffic control around cities, construction sites, and major events such as music festivals or sporting events. This role is crucial in the design of safe lane closures and traffic detours with the physical setup and removal of devices such as barricades, pylons, signage, and digital messaging boards.

Requirements

• A valid Non-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver’s License.
• A Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract.
• Ability to get to and from work.
• Must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug, Alcohol and Fit Test.
• Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
• Must bring a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on the first day.

Nice To Haves

• A valid ACSA TCP Ticket is an asset.
