Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and manage outdoor conditions.
• Availability to work during peak traffic hours, including early mornings and late afternoons.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in traffic management, safety supervision, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic during arrival and dismissal times to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist students in crossing streets safely and guide them to designated entry and exit points.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding traffic procedures and safety protocols.
• Report any traffic-related incidents or hazards to school administration promptly.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed to enhance traffic safety.
• Maintain a visible presence during peak traffic times to deter unsafe behavior and promote compliance with traffic rules.
• Participate in any training sessions and meetings to stay informed about traffic management best practices.
