About The Position

Hunt Electric, LLC. is seeking full-time Traffic Signal Workers for roadway and infrastructure projects. The work includes traffic signals, street lighting, underground utilities, electrical traffic-control devices, and power systems. Workers use light, medium, and heavy tools and may work with underground conduit, boxes, and vaults; build cabinets and foundations; pull wire; install light poles and fixtures; mount signal heads; install traffic cameras; and set rebar foundations and pour concrete. The position includes work at MSHA surface mine locations, mostly gravel pits, and may involve occasional long hours to complete assignments. Traffic Signal Workers contribute to a positive team environment, maintain dependable attendance, comply with scheduled work hours, and act as self-starters. Other duties or work locations may be assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Electrical knowledge.
Background in construction or carpentry.
General labor or construction labor experience.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Traffic signal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of traffic signals, electrical traffic-control devices, and power systems.
Design, install, and maintain motor control systems.
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC controls.
Work with underground conduit, boxes, and vaults; build cabinets and foundations; pull wire; install light poles and fixtures; mount signal heads; install traffic cameras; and set rebar foundations and pour concrete.
Work at MSHA surface mine locations, mostly gravel pits.
Contribute to a positive team environment.
Maintain regular attendance and comply with scheduled work hours.
Perform other duties or work at other locations as assigned by the Manager.
