Traffic Signal Inspector
About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Traffic Signal Inspector for major NCDPW projects in Nassau County, NY. LiRo-Hill, a 1100-person firm and a part of Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Recent NCDPW and/or NYSDOT project experience required
- NYCDOT traffic signal experience will be considered
- Computer experience required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to collaborate/coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff
- Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- NICET Level II Certification preferred
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field considered in lieu of NICET Certification
- Experienced with on-line project management software a plus (SiteManager, ASHTOWare, Appia)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for construction inspection of major traffic signal infrastructure projects
- Monitor and track project schedule and budget
- Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
- Track work progress through daily field reports and photographs
