Traffic Safety Technician
About The Position
Integrity, an AWP Safety Company, is seeking dependable Traffic Safety Technicians for part-time traffic control work. Work opportunities vary based on customer demand, project schedules, and employee availability, and may be offered with limited advance notice. The position is suited to people with flexible schedules who want to earn additional income. Paid training is provided, and advancement opportunities are available. Technicians set up and remove traffic control equipment and help establish safe work zones for construction and utility crews. The work is outdoors in varying weather conditions and may require travel to different job sites. The position is considered safety sensitive if it requires driving an Integrity/AWP vehicle or being present at an AWP worksite for any reason. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to accept work assignments with limited advance notice.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior traffic control or construction experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Set up and remove traffic control devices, signs, and cones.
