About The Position

North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC is a subsidiary of the Ferrovial Group in the U.S., currently working on several projects, including the North Tarrant Express (NTE) Projects. The NTE Extension Project involves significant highway improvements to the I-820 and SH-121/183 corridor in North Tarrant County, Texas, aimed at relieving congestion, improving safety, and accommodating traffic growth. The NTE Extension Project has had multiple segments, with North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC completing Segment 3A and currently carrying out Segment 3C. The Traffic Safety Officer will be responsible for all traffic control activities for the project, reporting to the Segment Traffic Control Manager.

Requirements

• Certified by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in “Work Zone traffic Control”.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions.
• Experience on large highway, bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Traffic Control operations and personnel.
• Ensure safety and compliance with the Traffic Management plan in all Traffic Control operations.
• Administer Traffic Management Plan developed in conjunction with project Construction Managers.
• Maintain Traffic Control Field operations compliant with the Traffic Management Plan.
• Ensure timely traffic control operations in support of construction activities.
• Provide limited supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasks.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
