About The Position

North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC is a subsidiary of the Ferrovial Group in the U.S., currently working on major highway improvements in North Tarrant County, Texas, including the North Tarrant Express (NTE) Extension Project. This project aims to relieve congestion, improve safety, and accommodate traffic growth. The Traffic Safety Officer will be responsible for all traffic control activities for the project under the direction of the Segment Traffic Control Manager.

Requirements

• Certified by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in “Work Zone traffic Control”.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions.
• Experience on large highway, bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Traffic Control operations and personnel.
• Ensure safety and compliance with the Traffic Management plan in all Traffic Control operations.
• Administer Traffic Management Plan developed in conjunction with project Construction Managers.
• Maintain Traffic Control Field operations compliant with the Traffic Management Plan.
• Ensure timely traffic control operations in support of construction activities.
• Provide limited supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasks.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
