The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping information, preparing documentation, and coordinating with customers and carriers to ensure efficient and accurate shipment of goods. This role involves reviewing shop orders, typing bills of lading, selecting appropriate truck lines, determining shipment weights and dimensions, and arranging for special shipping methods when necessary. The coordinator will also trace outgoing shipments, perform general clerical tasks, and may be involved in data entry for shipping logs and export documentation.
