The Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for proficiently assisting in coordinating the movement of material from order point through use in the facility up to and including shipment to customer. This position and the person engaged in these activities reports to Logistics Supervisor. Starting Pay: $20.00/hr. to $23.00/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8 am - 4 pm At Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in shipping and receiving
  • Good to advance computer skills required.
  • High school diploma
  • Able to work and communicate well with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, SAP, etc. beneficial.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping documents beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and coordinate scheduled shipment and incoming material events in SAP and other company computer programs. Complete the required transactions in this system to ensure that material processing is accurate.
  • Release received pre-material for production utilizing SAP, issue out pre-material stock labels and ensure that all material is properly staged, labeled, scanned and ready for use by the production group.
  • Cycle count inventory of pre-material, material in use and scrap throughout the facility (to ensure that material inventory is accurately reflected).
  • Effectively carry out the responsibility in the areas of shipping and receiving and all associated paperwork and system processing as needed.
  • Effectively carry out the functions required in the areas of product procurement and planning. Fully understand the use of SAP and all other company programs utilized for this purpose and assist in the completion of these tasks as needed.
