The Traffic Coordinator tracks and prepares logs for scheduled programming and advertisements. Prepares daily program log by obtaining information such as source, location and length of program Communicates daily with Director of Sales on open inventory and incomplete programming or formats Maximizes revenue by placing highest value commercials into proper programming Fills promotional commercial log schedule Assigns commercial material to be inserted between programs Creates and issues computerized program schedule for the station Maintains program logging and other operational procedures Coordinates with other departments to solve logistical problems in coordination of on-air promotions for station programming Coordinates station programming changes Potential to work with multiple TV Stations simultaneously Knowledge in traffic systems such as wide orbit traffic or OSI Additional roles as assigned by Director of Sales Performs clerical functions as needed Performs other duties as assigned
