This role provides essential administrative and clerical support, ensuring the accurate flow of shipping documentation, timely communication across departments, and efficient coordination of inbound and outbound materials.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping and logistics documents
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of administrative, clerical, or office experience required
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to a full workday)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping & receiving environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the Shipping & Receiving desk, handling phones and visitor inquiries
  • Verify incoming materials, including auditing packing lists and shipping documents for accuracy
  • Assist with tracking lost shipments and processing damage claims
  • Communicate shipping and receiving activities with internal departments
  • Distribute traffic and shipping documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain organized files and departmental records
  • Prepare and review shipping documents for outbound shipments
  • Track incoming shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Create packing labels and pressroom flags for manufacturing
  • Assist with routing local drivers efficiently
  • Support warehouse security and documentation compliance
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
