About The Position

This is a skilled position that will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in Traffic Control on construction projects, streets, parking lots, aircraft landing strips, and driveways. Requirements

Experience and current certifications for Advanced MOT.
Must be computer literate to include Word and Excel.
Valid Standard Driver’s License Class D or higher.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Prior experience in MOT and Advanced MOT certification is required.

Responsibilities

Work with the project manager with a variety of duties associated with traffic control.
Deliver necessary equipment to all job sites and locations using truck and trailer.
Keep records of delivery of both time and equipment.
Coordinate with the superintendents on jobs.
Be responsible for Maintenance of Traffic coordination and set-up.
Work in very close proximity to traffic (including Interstate).
Be required to work from a moving vehicle regularly.
Place cones and barrels as required to maintain the flow of traffic.
Be responsible for maintaining all cones and barrels properly placed during production – checking for knocked over cones and barrels.
Be responsible for the completion of all paperwork related to MOT.
Maintain safety of projects by maintaining drop-offs, potholes, etc.
