About The Position

This role is crucial for overseeing heavy civil construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and tunnels.
  • Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
  • Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • MOT Supervisor (GDOT) Certification via WTCS is preferred. Otherwise, will require company provided training per job specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee heavy civil construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and reinforce Webber’s strong safety culture.
  • Support the company’s goal of zero recordable safety incidents.
  • Use signs or devices to direct traffic.
  • Assemble, position, and clean devices or equipment used to direct traffic.
  • Communicate verbally, in English and Spanish, with the public.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Other unlisted duties will be assigned.
