Requirements

5-7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and tunnels.
Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
MOT Supervisor (GDOT) Certification via WTCS is preferred. Otherwise, will require company provided training per job specifications.

Responsibilities

Oversee heavy civil construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Maintain a safe work environment and reinforce Webber’s strong safety culture.
Support the company’s goal of zero recordable safety incidents.
Use signs or devices to direct traffic.
Assemble, position, and clean devices or equipment used to direct traffic.
Communicate verbally, in English and Spanish, with the public.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
Other unlisted duties will be assigned.
