Traffic Control Person - Seasonal
About The Position
ATS Traffic Winnipeg is seeking new team members for the upcoming season in their On-Street Services department as a Traffic Control Person. This seasonal role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires motivated, hardworking, and safety-focused individuals. The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts with available overtime, and is expected to last until the end of November 2026. Requirements
- A valid Non-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver’s License and a Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract is required to drive our company vehicles.
- As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test.
- Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.
- Experience in either Traffic Control or Construction industries is an asset
- Preference is given to candidates who hold a valid TCP certificate
Responsibilities
- conducting traffic control around cities and construction sites
- making deliveries to our customers
- assisting with shipping and receiving in our shop
- Set-up, delivery and pick up of rental and sales product
- Filling out appropriate paperwork such as work area and journals
- Handling customer pick-ups and customer returns
- Cleaning and maintenance of all rental equipment
- Truck upkeep and inspections (Oil changes, cleaning, tire pressure)
- Following principles for LEAN 6S
