About The Position

This is a one-day event position for a Traffic Control Attendant at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT, on Friday, October 23, 2026. The role involves greeting guests, directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic, and assisting with guidance to parking and entry points to ensure a smooth and safe event experience. This is a high-energy, outdoor role for individuals who enjoy staying active and interacting with people.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in traffic control or a related field.
• Ability to stand, walk, and direct traffic outdoors for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Black khaki pants (must have belt loops; strictly no jeans, leggings, or athletic wear).
• Comfortable tennis shoes/sneakers.
• Standard black belt.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and event attendees with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic to keep incoming and outgoing cars moving safely and smoothly.
• Assist with clear directional guidance to parking areas and main event entry points.
• Partner with the event team to ensure a seamless arrival experience for everyone.
