About The Position

The Traffic Control Apprentice will be part of a skilled regional team serving roadways across North Carolina and South Carolina with professional traffic management and traffic control solutions. Responsibilities
- Placing cones and other traffic control devices
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of work zone safety equipment
- Directing traffic according to established plans and safety regulations
- Ensuring seamless operations and maintaining strict compliance with all state and local regulations
- Supporting traffic management and traffic control services for construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects
- Working with traffic control equipment, including cones, drums, barricades, and channelizing devices
- Assisting with advanced trailered equipment such as arrow boards and portable message boards
- Minimizing disruption while prioritizing safety and compliance
- Planning and executing traffic solutions to manage complex traffic challenges effectively
