About The Position

The Traffic Co-op will work with a dynamic team of traffic engineering / transportation planning professionals on a variety of projects including municipal traffic signal coordination, transit operation studies, traffic modelling, traffic impact studies, road safety analysis, and highway planning studies. As part of HDR’s Transportation Business Group, you’ll help shape the systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of traffic / transportation analysis tools would be an asset: such as Synchro, Vissim, Aimsun, EMME, Legion, and ArcGIS.
Knowledge in data analytic tools would be an asset: Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure, AWS
