About The Position

All Options is looking for a Trading Systems Performance Lead to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of engineering, team development, and real-time support. You will own the structure, growth, and operating standards of our trading systems support team; defining both how the team works and the direction it takes. Your time will be split between shaping team structure and professional routines, preparing the team to scale, and designing the performance metrics that guide how it operates. From day one, you will work closely with traders and engineers on the trading floor, exchanges, and vendors, staying close to critical systems and the people who rely on them.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
3 or more years' experience leading technical support, production engineering, or related teams
Ability to communicate clearly with both traders and developers and to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Shell) and version control systems such as Git
Working understanding of Linux OS

Nice To Haves

Experience with trading systems and US exchange protocols is a plus
Experience with C++ or Rust is a plus
Previous experience in a financial or trading environment is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow the trading support team, setting standards for performance, professional development, and scalable ways of working
Ensure the team is organized and equipped to maintain system uptime, capacity, and performance under high-load and high-volatility market conditions
Drive continuous improvement and assess the team's tools, workflows, and operational processes
Oversee support for proprietary trading systems, ensuring critical production issues are diagnosed and resolved, and incident tracking and reporting are consistently maintained
Design performance metrics and dashboards that correlate system performance with trading outcomes, guiding the team's approach to alerting and automation
Prepare the team's structure, staffing, and processes to scale alongside growing trading systems and volumes
Ensure the skills, ways of working and toolset transition towards a global way of working including follow-the-sun support and unified processes
