This role supports the Equity Derivative Structured Products Desks in North America, covering both sales and trading for exotic and flow derivatives business lines. The position also provides support to the cross-asset sales team in the issuance and lifecycle of non-equity linked structured products. Key responsibilities include facilitating trade bookings, querying structured trades, and validating their economic integrity for proper settlement. The role also involves client setup, managing secondary buyback formalities, and facilitating pricing using tools like Bloomberg. Collaboration with sales is essential to ensure pre-trade approvals for new structured products and correct client onboarding before the issue date. The role requires preparing various calculations for structured trades across equities and cross-asset classes, including equities, expiries, coupons, physical payoffs, and drafting fixing notices. Calculations are performed using term sheets, confirmations, and Excel models, with data sourced from Bloomberg and other platforms. Trade capture of Structured Products into front office systems is a core duty. Additionally, the role involves initiating and working on projects to reduce manual labor, enhance controls, mitigate input errors, and reduce costs within the middle office by leveraging low-cost centers. The objective is to drive the future state of the Structured Products business and improve daily processes.
