Supporting trading across global markets, this engineer will monitor critical workflows, respond to production issues, and work closely with quantitative researchers and software engineers. This is an operations-first engineering role. It requires practical systems and coding skills to investigate problems, automate routine work, and implement safe, well-scoped fixes. More complex software changes will be developed in partnership with the team's engineers.

Requirements

  • Experience in production engineering, trade support, systems operations, or a related function
  • Working proficiency with Python, Linux, and shell scripting, including comfort reading and debugging existing code and making tested, well-scoped changes
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, automation, data pipelines, or scheduled production workflows
  • A systematic, calm approach to troubleshooting and sound judgment about when to act independently or involve other engineers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, self-directed working style
  • A genuine interest in production ownership, reliability, and operational improvement
  • Reliable and predictable availability
