About The Position

Trading Operations Partners will be on the firm’s trading desk and will book and process transactions. With direct customer interaction, Trading Operations Partners will work alongside the firm’s Lead Generators and Senior Traders for daily processing and as a point of escalation for client needs, including charts and pricing information. Trading Operations Partners will also perform individual follow up on specific transactions that require bespoke processing and attention. Trading Operations Partners will be involved in multi-faceted relationships with prospective and existing clients to maintain and grow FX transaction activity inside and outside of the Bank’s physical geographical footprint. The primary client and prospect universe for Trading Operations Partners will include the firm’s clients of all sizes but generally have revenues in excess of $25 million and may have cross sell opportunities for the Bank. Trading Operations Partners participate in the achievement of corporate sales and service goals to build customer (external/internal) relationships and enhance shareholder value. The position will generally be located on the firm’s trading desk. Trading Operations Partners play a central role in client retention through daily customer interaction and follow up.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree required
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to support clients through a responsive and consultative approach
Ability to work effectively with internal business partners in managing customer relationships
Teamwork

Nice To Haves

2+ years of financial services experience, ideally in a capital markets role, for entry into the job family

Responsibilities

Execute and book client transactions
Settle client transactions
Follow up as needed on specific client transactions
Assist sales team with any charts/pricing information when they are out of the office
May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
May expertly apply subject-matter knowledge while performing highly complex work assignments
May contribute to the development of processes/procedures
May make day-to-day decisions within the Trading Operations Partner team and help manage daily workflow
Meet all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
