About The Position

The mission of the Trading & Investment Operations Analyst is to support the Investment Department in priority functions including trade execution, reconciliation and model management; fund administration and cash management; and departmental data and project management. The role is part of a team that serves as the execution and implementation function that complements and collaborates with the Research and Investment Strategy side of the department. This is a trading execution and operations oriented role where efficiency and expediency is necessary and attention to detail is critical. In addition to error-free trade execution, the successful candidate can take on larger, longer-term projects and proactively drive them forward to completion. This is a highly visible role across the department and the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in trading or fund administration
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to, and improve processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, economics, and the investment industry.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Process-driven and proactive with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bloomberg, Orion/Eclipse, Pitchbook, YCharts
  • AI and LLM proficiency and proactivity to develop and apply AI automation to help scale responsibilities
  • Passion for investing – Strong sense of curiosity and inquiry in markets and investing
  • Time management – Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and efficiently allocate time for maximum productivity.
  • Multitasking – Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining high performance and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Daily trade execution and reconciliation of equities and fixed income securities, and investment liquidity oversight
  • Trading model and look-through exposure maintenance
  • Providing performance updates of markets and investments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with custodians
  • Oversee fund administrator and service provider relationships to Simon Quick’s equity, hedge fund, and private equity fund of funds
  • Support in monthly process management, particularly in monthly reconciliation and cash movements
  • Document and investor management
  • Manage daily and monthly performance monitoring and recording processes
  • Benchmark and Investment performance data entry
  • Support implementation of separately managed account strategies
  • Provide research support for passive index-based funds and fund families
  • Assist in departmental projects and tasks, including Investment Committee and Strategy meetings
