About The Position
Talan is seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in FX and eTrading environments and be passionate about working in Front Office teams. This role is for individuals who have worked in Trading environments and enjoy the pace of solving real problems for traders in real time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, CS, or similar
- Strong understanding of eTrading and exposure to IRD
- Experience supporting Front Office trading apps
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, Windows
- Able to talk directly with traders and turn their needs into something Tech can act on

- Orchestrade is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day trade support to traders, MO, BO, and risk teams across Orchestrade and IRD
- Troubleshoot critical desk issues fast, fix trade capture and event processing problems, and keep positions, P&L, and risk clean in the systems
- Partner with global Tech and Ops teams on strategic projects, bring the business view, test new rollouts, and push existing processes to be better
- Run reconciliations across systems during upgrades and keep connectivity solid for the desks
- Ensure platforms admin in relation with system providers, both internal and external
