About The Position

NBCP Communications Systems is seeking a full-time, experienced jack-of-all-trades technician/handyman/electrician to be an integral part of a team building state-of-the-art communications systems throughout the US. This position involves nationwide travel to various job sites, making every day unique and fulfilling. We are looking for individuals who enjoy leading others and have the experience to back it up. Requirements

Proven experience as a handyman, electrician, tradesman, mechanic or AV/IT Technician.
At least 5 years of experience with hands-on understanding of electrical, drywall, concrete, carpentry and drop ceiling work.
Valid electrical license or certification highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems and electrical wiring highly preferred.
Ability to travel sometimes for weeks and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights when necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in AV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment and systems.
Perform electrical work related to AV installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Patching/repairing or hanging drywall, fixing minor issues, installing/repairing/replacing flooring, and building office furniture.
General residential/commercial remodeling, repairs/maintenance, and installations in carpentry, drop ceiling repair, drywall, painting, and electrical wiring.
Stripping and replacing sheet rock, repairing floors and roofs, and performing small demolition jobs.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand technical requirements.
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Travel nationwide to various job sites, adapting to different environments and challenges.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients during installations.
Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Stay updated with the latest AV technology and industry trends.
