About The Position

Spectra Logic is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Tradeshow Manager to lead the planning, execution, and measurement of our global event strategy. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role responsible for end-to-end management of industry trade shows, partner events, customer programs, and conferences that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. The ideal candidate combines exceptional organizational skills with creative problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product teams, and external vendors to deliver high-impact events worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in event planning and management, ideally within a B2B technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute event strategies that support business goals.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and global logistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, professional demeanor.
  • Evidence of a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who works effectively with executives, managers, and employees across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute Spectra Logic’s presence at national and global trade shows, conferences, and partner events.
  • Manage channel and partner events in EMEA and other global regions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to create compelling booth messaging, graphics, and pre/post-event campaigns.
  • Oversee the Trade Show and Events budget, including forecasting, vendor management, and cost control.
  • Lead vendor relationships — including agencies, booth builders, logistics, and promotional suppliers — ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Sales to manage lead capture, upload, and follow-up processes.
  • Track and report on event performance metrics, including ROI, lead quality, and pipeline influence, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Order and manage promotional items for events and sales initiatives.
  • Conduct planning, pre-event, and post-event meetings to ensure continuous process improvement.
