About The Position
Support facility mission by maintaining grounds, streets, sidewalks, and parking lots in a safe and aesthetic manner. Perform preventive maintenance on facility owned and pool vehicles, grounds equipment and other designated gas- and diesel-powered equipment.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes
- Knowledge on operating vehicles or powered equipment such as lawnmowers, snowblowers
- Ability to work in variable environmental conditions (e.g. hot and cold weather)
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge/skill in utilizing grounds-keeping equipment and herbicides, fertilizers, pesticides, etc., in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision after receiving clear and concise instruction from supervisor.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
