Under immediate supervision, perform a variety of tasks to assist skilled trades workers performing general or specialized trades work. This role involves working with various skilled trades workers, operating and maintaining tools and equipment, installing or removing equipment, performing tasks associated with construction, welding, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and refurbishing. The position also includes troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing items and systems, identifying and acquiring necessary parts and materials, coordinating service needs, and maintaining logs. Compliance with safety practices is essential. Some positions may require a Texas Class “C” Driver’s License or Commercial Driver’s License. Special requirements include potential drug and alcohol testing for positions requiring a CDL or that are safety-sensitive.
