About The Position

SA-TECH is seeking a Trades Helper to support their engineering, testing, prototyping, repair, and production facilities, specifically in the Composite Shop at their St. Inigoes, MD complex. This role assists skilled maintenance trades by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying materials and tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, holding materials or tools for journeymen, and performing other unskilled tasks as directed. The specific duties can vary depending on the trade, ranging from simple material handling to specialized machine operations.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Knowledge of common hand and power tools.
Minimum of two (2) years of general shop experience, with knowledge of basic power tools.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Solid organizational and communication skills.
Current Maryland Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must already have or be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

Responsibilities
