Requirements

• No experience or training is required.
• A valid Louisiana Class “D” Chauffeur’s License is required at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Makes general repairs to interior/exterior of buildings and facilities such as bridge houses, walkways, and other related structures, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems, etc.
• General repairs include, but not limited to, painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical repair, and build forms and pours minor concrete slabs.
• Performs minor repairs to sewerage treatment plants on bridges.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems such as changing filters, cleaning drain lines and general cleaning.
• Performs safety and maintenance on all assigned equipment making minor repairs when necessary.
• Makes repairs to appliances; replaces parts and makes necessary adjustments.
