About The Position
White Swan Data is expanding its Racing and Sports execution team. The Trader will join the in-house fixed odds team, managing trading systems and contributing to their improvement. The role involves day, evening, and weekend shifts, including some unsociable hours. The company describes opportunities to develop a niche and progress within the business.
Requirements
- BSc in Mathematics or a similar discipline, such as physics, economics, or engineering.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and communicate technical issues clearly.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, including some early mornings and late nights.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage time proficiently.
Nice To Haves
- A good understanding of betting and odds.
Responsibilities
- Manage the trading system to maximise trade volume and meet target metrics.
- Work with developers and quants to provide practical feedback and improve the trading system.
- Work with the operational support team to optimise the trading pipeline.
- Solve practical problems quickly to minimise trading downtime.
