About The Position
Lovefreedom Solution, a leading intellectual property law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trademark Paralegal to join our team in New York, NY. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
- 2+ years of experience as a trademark paralegal in a law firm setting
- Strong understanding of USPTO rules and procedures
- Proficient in conducting trademark searches using online databases such as TESS and Saegis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of international trademark laws and procedures is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of trademark prosecution and maintenance, including preparing and filing trademark applications, office action responses, and maintenance documents
- Conduct trademark searches and analyze search results
- Prepare and file trademark assignments, declarations, and other documents with the USPTO
- Communicate with clients regarding trademark matters and provide updates on the status of their applications
- Maintain accurate and organized trademark files and databases
- Assist with trademark litigation, including drafting pleadings and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research on trademark-related issues
- Assist with other general paralegal duties as needed
