About The Position

A premier international law firm is seeking a Junior Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing startups, emerging growth companies, and Fortune 500 companies on sophisticated trademark, copyright, internet, and brand protection matters.

Requirements

2–4 years of trademark, copyright, internet, or intellectual property experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Washington bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

Experience with Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings and Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters is strongly preferred
Experience representing startups, emerging growth companies, technology companies, consumer brands, and Fortune 500 companies is preferred
Large law firm experience preferred
Outstanding academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills

Responsibilities

Handling U.S. and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement
Managing Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings and Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters
Advising clients on copyright counseling, registration, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement
Protecting and enforcing brand portfolios, domain names, online intellectual property rights, and advertising matters
Managing sophisticated intellectual property matters while maintaining significant client interaction
