About The Position

Shape the future of trade surveillance and help strengthen compliance across global financial markets. As a Trade Surveillance Associate at Capco, you’ll work closely with our clients to strengthen and evolve their trade surveillance and compliance monitoring programmes. You’ll combine deep surveillance expertise with strong stakeholder management to enhance controls, improve data quality and deliver strategic change across global monitoring frameworks. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for surveillance product owners, technology teams and key stakeholders, while helping ensure monitoring processes remain effective, accurate and aligned with evolving business requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in trade surveillance or a front-office-facing role, with experience leading or managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of trade surveillance systems, processes and controls, including experience monitoring their effectiveness and calibrating surveillance applications such as NASDAQ SMARTS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with client, business, product and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience managing surveillance change processes and ensuring business and functional requirements are delivered in line with governance frameworks.
  • Strong time management and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Fixed Income experience with detailed knowledge of relevant markets and global products.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key client contact and subject matter expert for trade surveillance and monitoring programmes, partnering with surveillance product owners and technology teams.
  • Drive strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives across global compliance monitoring frameworks, controls and best practices.
  • Develop performance metrics, reporting and analysis to identify opportunities to optimize surveillance controls, processes and supporting data.
  • Lead quality assurance across analyst reviews, maintaining high standards and identifying priorities for surveillance training and development.
  • Oversee surveillance data quality and support issue, risk and change management to help ensure surveillance systems operate effectively.
