Requirements

  • Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.
  • Four (4) year degree in facilities management discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Exercises supervision over all assigned craft shops and crafts persons.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of skilled trade workers (e.g., electricians, plumbers, carpenters, welders, etc.) to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Accomplishes work in accordance with authorized Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, and Standing Operating Orders. Complies with work schedules and contract requirements for response and performance. Provides Work Order feedback in accordance with established procedures.
  • Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure accomplishment in most effective and efficient manner. Interfaces with customers and Government representatives as required to achieve maximum productivity. Monitors work to ensure cost control (including minimization of overtime/lost time), effective use of tools, equipment, and materials, scope (including the documentation of changes to support job amendments), and the quality of work performed.
  • Constantly seeks to improve service to the customer at reduced cost. Makes suggestions related to use of improved procedures, methods, technology, tools and equipment, and human resources to achieve improved productivity, quality and cost performance.
  • Investigates problems with equipment operation, maintenance and breakdown to determine root cause. Recommends changes to operations and maintenance (O&M) procedures to deficiencies.
  • Controls tools, equipment, materials and vehicles to ensure inventory control, effective utilization, safe and proper operation, cleanliness, and cost effectiveness. Turns in excess, damaged or unserviceable items in accordance with current procedures.
