About The Position

The Trade Specialist serves as a liaison between the centralized trade organization, client-facing sales teams, and internal shared services. The role provides analytical, systems, and reconciliation expertise to support trade investment accuracy and effectiveness across Grocery, Natural, and Small Format channels. The specialist independently manages complex client systems, resolves exceptions, and ensures alignment between contractual agreements, customer execution, and financial settlement processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
• Ability to work with data, analyze trends, and generate actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business judgment and confidence in decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic client systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency across processes.
• Analyze and compare client contracts for dates, rates, and product details to ensure compliance and precision.
• Audit client events to validate deduction application accuracy and uphold financial integrity.
• Drive timely reconciliation between client requests, deduction balances, and customer timelines.
• Own key performance indicators for open deduction balances and report on client KPIs and outstanding balances.
• Provide problem-solving support for Global Business Services, including customer backup documentation and SOP updates.
• Facilitate regular daily, weekly, and monthly collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on goals and resolve challenges.
