About The Position

This role provides operational and administrative support to the Trading Room. The Trade Operations Administrator will propose and implement automation and streamline processes where applicable. The position is full-time and salaried, with a work week of 37.5 hours. The platform is WEALTH MANAGEMENT.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Excel with the ability to use and maintain macros.
  • Must be a self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate intricate trade discrepancies and recommend a course of action.
  • Familiarity with trading terminology and back-office processes.
  • Working knowledge to any of the following systems: Charles River, Bloomberg, PCView, DTCC, GTSS, CloudMargin

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the trading desk.
  • Assist in the input of trade information and the reconciliation of previous day trading activity.
  • Research security prices as required.
  • Act as a liaison between trading and operations staff.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all trades.
  • Identify trade settlement issues while offering solutions to minimize risks or costs.
  • Provide assistance and support to trade room staff and portfolio managers when implementing new processes or revising existing procedures.
  • Pro-actively offer solutions for streamlining processes and/or procedures and ability to implement suggestions or new projects as developed.
