About The Position

The Trade Operations & Logistics Manager is accountable for the overall operation of SERB’s Third Party Logistics (3PL) ensuring accurate, timely and compliant distribution of SERB’s pharmaceutical products. This position will be based out of Conshohocken, PA with a 3 day onsite schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or health sciences
• Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain and Distribution, minimum 5 years
• Significant knowledge of innerworkings of Pharmaceutical Third-Party Logistics (3PL) warehousing and distribution
• Experience with International Shipments, including Exports and Customs clearance
• Experience with DSCSA requirements
• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work confidently and independently, but as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to express complex ideas.
• Ability to perform all job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with all levels of staff to coordinate and execute activities.
• Understanding of basic data processing functions, including electronic data capture
• Strong familiarity with spreadsheets / Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communicator with problem-solving skills; attentive to detail and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree; Supply Chain preferred
• Experience with Cold Chain Product Distribution preferred
• Experience with EDI data (852,867) preferred

Responsibilities

• Support logistics function across all Trade brands
• Warehouse inventory management, including transfers of Product between 3PL Distribution Centers and quarterly destructions of product
• Troubleshoot logistics issues to bring resolution
• Coordination with internal SERB quality team to resolve any distribution-related quality events
• Overall management and adherence to DSCSA/Serialization requirements for all Trade brands
• Management of all 3PL warehouse activities to ensure accuracy across all product activity
• Create and manage monthly budget and track actual expenses for all 3PL activities
• Coordination and setup for any new products added to SERB’s portfolio
• Coordination with Internal Supply Chain partners for all incoming shipments from SERB’s manufacturing partners
• Represent trade team on monthly S&OP planning meetings
• Adherence with Serialization requirements for each incoming batch
• Resolution of any shipping or data issues
• Coordinate and manage end to end logistics for all Rest of World (ROW) shipping needs from 3PL to third party distributors
• Coordination with external transportation vendors for shipments, including acquisition of cold chain packaging
• Coordination with SERB’s external consultant to ensure compliance with all state license requirements
• Coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness of all application requirements
• Support adherence to all requirements for SERB’s VAWD accreditation, including management of all internal Trade SOPs, Annual VAWD submissions and audits
• Manage or assist with other ad hoc projects as requested
• Ensuring that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with SERB values.
