About The Position

The Plumbing Foreman is a critical leader on our job sites, responsible for overseeing crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring high-quality plumbing installations from start to finish. This role balances hands-on expertise with leadership, guiding teams through complex layouts, code compliance, inspections, and fast-paced deadlines to keep projects on track and under budget. As a foreman, you’ll work closely with project managers, field engineers, and fellow trades to solve challenges in real time while mentoring the next generation of skilled plumbers. Your ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and maintain a safe, productive job site makes you a cornerstone of project success. Plumbing Foremen are respected not only for their technical mastery but also for their ability to drive performance, uphold quality standards, and lead teams with integrity. Their leadership directly impacts every system delivered and every milestone met in the field.

Requirements

  • Journeyman or Master License required.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Good dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Aptitude for technical problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations.
  • Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
  • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
  • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
  • Work in all types of weather.
  • Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe work environment for you, RK crews, and all job site personnel. Assist Corporate Safety Managers as requested.
  • Customer satisfaction.
  • Work within the perimeters of trade specific project budget.
  • Ensure quality craftsmanship on trade specific system installations.
  • Plan specific trade installation approach and procedures.
  • Coordinate CPMI for specific trade.
  • Schedule daily and weekly trade activities.
  • Trade related materials, tool, and equipment requisitions.
  • Trade specific journeyman to apprentice ratio.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with all customers, external and internal.
  • Conflict resolution.
