Trade Finance Specialist

At Regions, the Trade Finance Specialist will process standby letters of credit, commercial letters of credit, documentary collections, shared national credits, participations, funds, and pay off loans to clients under EX-IM bank working capital guarantee and other insured loan products according to industry standards and publications that governs said products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of banking experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work under pressure
- Detail oriented with strong emphasis on producing an accurate and professional product
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc)
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Ensures client needs are met and/or exceeded within established service level agreement
- Issues, amends, and pays standby letters of credit, commercial letters of credit, and documentary collections according to industry standards
- Processes loan requests and monitors borrowing bases under working capital guarantees and EX-IM bank policies within defined coverages
- Process any credits returned for cancellation
- Ensures policies regarding regulatory, credit, and operational risk mitigation is adhered to
