Trade Coordination, Americas – Fixed Income Co Op
About The Position
The Fixed Income Trading Co-op’s primary focus will be assisting the Fixed Income Trading Desk with various responsibilities. This includes monitoring confirmation platforms to ensure FX and bond trades are matched and allocations are acknowledged and confirmed by broker/dealers. The co-op will also provide manual allocations for non-electronically matched trades, assist with researching and resolving trading discrepancies, and provide phone coverage, relaying information from broker/dealers to traders. Additionally, the role involves producing and analyzing daily reports to monitor key risk indicators and ensure best trading practices, as well as assisting with ad-hoc projects for traders and trade coordinators. This co-op position entails cross-training to ensure optimal performance across functions.
Requirements

- Familiarity and interest in the finance industry
- Previous experience in a corporate environment a plus
- Prior co-op experience, as this position requires a foundational understanding of professional workplace dynamics and responsibilities
- Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program
Responsibilities
