About The Position

ANDRITZ is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Trade Compliance Analyst to join our North American Trade Compliance team. In this role, you will help ensure the accurate classification of products for import and export activities while supporting compliance across a complex global manufacturing and engineering environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Quality while developing expertise in international trade regulations, customs compliance, and product classification strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, product classification, or a related discipline
  • Working knowledge of HTS Classification
  • Working knowledge of Harmonized System (HS) Codes
  • Working knowledge of Schedule B Classifications
  • Working knowledge of Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs)
  • Working knowledge of Import and Export Regulations
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms
  • Working knowledge of Free Trade Agreements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) or similar trade compliance systems
  • Customs or trade compliance certifications
  • Experience using U.S. Customs ACE data
  • Familiarity with customs audits and broker management
  • Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or project-based business experience
  • Experience with Power BI, Access, or other data visualization and reporting tools
