About The Position
Advanced Sentry LLC is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to support a global technology client's trade compliance operations. This remote contract role is suited to a junior-to-mid-level professional with 4–5 years of import and export compliance experience. The analyst will support daily compliance operations, trade data analysis, documentation review, and reporting related to international shipments and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export, supply chain, or international business.
- Strong understanding of U.S. export regulations, including EAR, OFAC, and CBP.
- Ability to perform HTS and ECCN classification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar collaboration tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with freight forwarders or customs brokers.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping processes.
- Experience with Oracle, GTM, or other ERP systems.
- Experience with process improvement or automation initiatives.
- Experience supporting trade compliance programs within a technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support daily import and export compliance operations.
- Review international shipping documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist with HTS and ECCN classification for products and shipments.
- Support Oracle / Global Trade Management (GTM) system activities.
- Analyze trade data and develop metrics and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers regarding shipment documentation.
- Monitor regulatory updates and compliance requirements affecting global trade.
- Assist with process documentation, workflow improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple teams and regions.
