About The Position

The Toro Company is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst with a focus on USMCA to join their team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS Diploma minimum
  • 5+ years of deep experience working with USMCA qualification
  • Knowledge of tariff classification, country of origin, and valuation
  • Experience with CBP’s ACE portal
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple high priority tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full professional fluency in English; both written and verbal
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Familiar with SAP & other enterprise systems

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product origin analyses to determine eligibility for USMCA preferential treatment.
  • Review bills of materials, manufacturing processes, and supplier declarations to assess regional value content (RVC) and tariff shift requirements.
  • Manage HTS classification.
  • Maintain and update USMCA certifications of origin, ensuring accuracy and timely renewal.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain, validate, and archive origin documentation.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready records in accordance with USMCA and CBP requirements.
  • Ensure proper retention of certificates, supplier affidavits, classification data, and supporting documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits related to USMCA claims.
  • Monitor regulatory changes related to USMCA and other trade agreements, advising internal stakeholders on impacts.
  • Support broader trade compliance activities, including import/export controls, valuation, and country-of-origin marking.
  • Provide training and guidance on USMCA requirements and document best practices.
  • Provide support for all other duties within the department as necessary.
