About The Position
We Match Talent with Opportunity in a Professional Fleet Maintenance Environment. Tractor/Trailer Mechanic will repair and maintain Nationwide Freight Equipment. Repairs and services Semi-Trucks and Trailers. Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs. Maintains a clean and safe repair shop. Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance. Maintains repair log for vehicles and equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment
- Excellent mechanical repair skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- One to three years of related technical experience/training
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certification(s)
