Tractor Operator - Extended Year
About The Position
Operates tractors and earth moving equipment including materials around warehouses, storage yards, construction sites or similar locations specializing in detecting power lines and other underground hazards. Performs lawn maintenance. Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices to load, unload, transport and stack materials. Positions lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids and boxes. Secures material or products for transport to designated areas. Operates equipment in a proper and safe manner. Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 6 months of work experience
- Vehicles (e.g., automobile, truck, tractor, forklift)

- May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice and training to staff.
